Niacinamide (5%): A derivative of Vitamin B3 and a potent brightening agent with a multitude of skin benefits. It works effectively to fade pigmentation spots caused by acne scars and/or sun spots. It also improves the skin's overall tone and texture, improves the skin's hydration levels and controls sebum production. Studies have shown that niacinamide can act as an antioxidant, can improve the skin barrier function, decreases pigmentation, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, decreases skin sallowness (yellowness), decreases redness/blotchiness and improves skin elasticity.
