It works effectively due to the following two active ingredients:
Vitamin C: Present in this product in the following forms - ascorbyl glucoside, ascorbic acid and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate. A potent antioxidant that protects the skin from photoaging (aging caused by free radicals in UV light damaging DNA). It brightens the complexion and rapidly fades pigmentation spots due to acne scars or sun spots. Its brightening effect is enhanced in the presence of Vitamin E and ferulic acid. Niacinamide: A derivative of Vitamin B3 and a potent brightening agent with a multitude of skin benefits. It works effectively to fade pigmentation spots caused by acne scars and/or sun spots. It also improves the skin's overall tone and texture, improves the skin's hydration levels and controls sebum production. Studies have shown that niacinamide can act as an antioxidant, can improve the skin barrier function, decreases pigmentation, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, decreases skin sallowness (yellowness), decreases redness/blotchiness and improves skin elasticity. DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Apply a pea-sized amount to the face and neck after the serum step. Gently massage into the skin. Can be used in the morning and at night.
